Vision

The Riyuvann Estate was envisioned as an escape - a contemporary sanctuary immersed in Alibaug’s lush greenery and tranquil skies.
The client sought a residence that embodied sophistication without excess, blending indoor comfort with natural openness.
The goal: to create a home that feels equally grand and grounded, modern in design yet timeless in soul.

Challenge

The project’s large expanse - spanning over 5,800 sqm. of tropical landscape - demanded an architectural layout that maintained intimacy while celebrating scale.
Integrating multiple experiential zones - pool, gardens, terraces, and alcoves - without fragmenting the design required a precise orchestration of proportion and flow.
The challenge lay in achieving seamless spatial transitions while respecting the site’s natural contours and vegetation. 

Approach

Lamar curated a design strategy that combined open-plan architecture with contextual detailing.
Ceiling-to-floor sliding glass doors created a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces - allowing light, wind, and greenery to animate the villa throughout the day.
Natural materials, rustic textures, and patterned flooring were selected to evoke warmth, while contemporary fixtures added refinement and contrast.
Each area - from the pool deck to the tree-house and hidden garden dining pavilion - was designed as an experience of its own, connected through visual rhythm and landscape continuity.

Vision

Set high above the Mumbai skyline, this 2BHK residence was conceived as an urban retreat - a balance of indulgence and restraint.

The clients, a young couple with a passion for design and celebration, wanted a space that reflected their lifestyle: refined, expressive, and connected to the rhythm of the city below.

Challenge

Originally a 4BHK, the layout presented structural and spatial limitations typical of high-rise conversions.
The challenge lay in transforming a compact apartment into an open, fluid environment - one that felt expansive, connected, and distinctly personal, without altering key load-bearing walls.

Approach

Lamar’s team began by reimagining flow.
Two bedrooms were merged with the living and dining zones to create one continuous social spine - uniting the media room, study, and dining area through a series of layered sightlines.

Arched transitions introduced soft geometry, subtly guiding movement through the home. Material and texture took the lead - pastel furnishings, brushed metal details, natural stone surfaces, and hand-finished accents built a tactile calm against the city’s dynamism.

Each space was designed to reveal another - creating a sense of continuity that makes the apartment feel far larger than its footprint suggests.

Design Highlights

• Living Area: Unified open layout with layered textures and sculptural lighting.
• Passageway: Arched corridor with tinted mirrors and polished metal detailing. 
• Master Suite: Marble backdrop wall with handcrafted headboard and panoramic skyline view. 
• Guest Room: Minimal palette of pearl and gold tones with soft textiles and natural light. 
• Study: Dual-purpose space with concealed wall bed, leather desk, and sage-toned shelving. 
• Media Lounge: Coral-toned sofa, ambient bar counter in natural stone, and curated artwork collection

Outcome

The result is a seamless blend of cosmopolitan energy and residential calm - a Mumbai apartment styled with international sensibility yet rooted in the city’s rhythm. On the 52nd floor, The Sky Residence captures Lamar’s philosophy in built form: precision in detail, clarity in space, and quiet sophistication in every finish.
